Pike County Court House
The Troy University Arboretum, formerly known as the Troy State University Arboretum, (75 acres) is an arboretum and nature preserve, located next to the Troy University main campus in Troy, Alabama, and open to the public. The Arboretum includes over 300 different species of trees, as well as a 2.5 mile nature trail with a swamp, stream, and Mullis Pond (4 acres).

Troy indoor soccer in Montgomery recap
In Montgomery YMCA Indoor Soccer League action Tuesday night, Troy Indoor U14 beat Montgomery Indoor U14 Red 6-4. Midfielder Scott McLendon and forward James McNeill scored goals for Troy, while midfielder Tanner Dansby and keepers Hunter Kennedy and McLendon controlled the defense and sparked the late counter-attack by Troy.
Man faces life sentence for rape
A Troy man will face life in prison after pleading guilty to raping and sexually abusing two young girls.
